Tarpon Springs (FL) East Lake offensive lineman Mason Cole has committed to Michigan.
Cole is the fourth commitment in the 2014 class and was arguably the coaching staff's top target along the offensive line for this class. He was making his third visit to Ann Arbor this weekend along with his parents and 2015 offer and teammate athlete George Campbell.
The effects of Cole's decision may end up leading to even better things for the Wolverines. Michigan has had its eye on Cole's fellow 2014 teammate, wide receiver Artavis Scott, for as long if not longer than they have with Cole. The three players (Cole, Campbell, Scott) have professed the desire to play with each other at the next level, and Michigan has recruited all three players as hard if not harder than any other program.
We'll have more from Cole soon on his commitment to Michigan. Stay tuned to Wolverine247 for more on another big addition to the Michigan football program.
