It's amazing on how many fan's Michigan has .. Being from LOS ANGELES CALI most USC Fans
respect and love Michigan football . i always hear GO BLUE when they see me wearing my gear
by the way
Ohio's fan base in LA sucks
And Most USC fans don't like Ohio
Just a thought
and +1 to you. Very well said. Whenever I go traveling I make sure I wear a bunch of Michigan stuff and there's always people who smile or say "GO BLUE" when they see it. Gotta love that.
The winged helmet and color pattern are easy for kids to grab onto... as small as that sounds now, when you're 10 years old and getting into football things like that make a huge difference. Add onto that Michigan's alumni are all over the world, and they are the winningest team in NCAA football history you're gonna have a strong fanbase.
I'm about 5 minutes from Cincinnati, living in Kentucky and there are as many Michigan fans here as there are Ohio fans.
Even people that don't Follow college football know what the big ( M) stand's for
THIS IS MICHIGAN
+1 for you angel
I am originally from Burbank, CA and I went to UM for my undergrad (last semester right now). I will wear Michigan stuff around town when back home and I almost always get a "Go Blue" thrown my way or I will see people wearing Michigan hats or whatnot. Hell I chose the school without ever visiting campus just because all the good words I heard from friends and my parents' friends.
I grew up rooting for UCLA though so I don't like USC fans, but I think there is a mutual respect between us and them because the expectation that we have to meet each other yearly in the Rose Bowl (the mutual hatred of ND helps as well).

Yeah ND and USC fan's = trouble
