updates on pipkins?

  • I noticed on Bucknuts Monday boarding house a small caption questioning pipkins eligibility. Anyone heard anything?

  • From all accounts that I have heard, Pipkins is doing just fine to qualify.

    Pay no heed to it, it is about as baseless as when they had an article last recruiting cycle claiming that Kalis was a drunk.

  • They have said the same thing about MANY 2012 Michigan commits. They also broke the news that Kalis has a drinking problem. Again, they just pander to the masses as we have seen with the articles shown yesterday.

    Yeah, from the combine where Dawson absolutely stoned Price in a drill that favors DL, he somehow gets the conclusion that Price is better. Right.

  • Nothing to worry about. Those posters over on bucknuts made up that Kalis rumor last week, and made this one up this week. It has already been debunked by both major Michigan sites Scout and Rivals.

    Also, there has been rumors about Norfleet and his grades, but it sounds like Michigan gave Hoke the A-OKAY when looking at his transcripts in late January-Early February.

    For OSU's sake, they better hope the Pipkins rumor is true. That boy is gonna be dominating them and that weak offensive line.

    I think Hoke is really attuned to the whole grade issue. He picked up Rawls last year who had questions but went on to qualify and he picked up Norfleet this year who had questions but is looking positive to qualify now. He also passed on Burbridge, who isn't looking good to qualify. He can't take many risks with the APR and depth chart being iffy at best, but he's taken the right risks so far.

    Unfortunately I've noticed that often, the bucknuts don't bother reviewing video. They're more likely to regurgitate another's thoughts on a recruit rather than watching the highlights and forming their own opinion.

    It was probably a board poster making things up, not someone on their staff itself. Different circumstances there.

    No, this is from their staff. So is the rumor that Kalis is an alcoholic. The staff is actually responsible for spreading these rumors.

    Yeah, you should actually be glad you can't read those Boarding Houses. They're outrageous. I just wish they would make sure it's a reliable source instead of spreading unbased rumors like they have been.
