  • Everyone watching those replays, except the replay official, saw that as a touchdown. The fact that that play was not overturned is baffling. I didn't think there was one camera angle that even showed that it MIGHT NOT be a touchdown. Every angle except the one from behind the endzone looked conclusive.

He needs to be unemployed on Monday morning.

  • The Big 10 refs sure do love Nebraska though.

  • The refs screwed Penn State out of a TD.

You find out life's this game of inches, so is football. Because in either game, life or football-the margin for error is so small. -Pacino

  • I can't and won't blame a loss on the refs. PSU players had their chances and blew plenty of them.

That said...it was still horrible officiating. Horrible. Not just that play, the whole game.

  • 20-6 lead & out scored 26-3 to end the game. Nebraska, you lucky bastards, that's two weeks in a row.

It's a close play in PSU/NEB but if it was me I would've reversed it to a touchdown. Seems to have control when the ball broke the plane.

They just came out with this cover only 3 months later.

    You guys got screwed. Sorry.

  • Worst Replay call ever. I can understand the call on the field but not after the review. It was obvious he broke the plane. Nebraska has gotten a lot of help the last 2 weeks from the refs.... I'll even go as far to say that they won those two games because of some blown calls.

  • Get this...No holding calls today on Nebraska's 57 runs (though I saw at least 7 blatant tackles or jersey pull downs right in the middle of the play the refs could not have missed it)...

    Also get this:
"Here is what is even crazier. The last offensive holding call against a Big 10 opponent was in the 3rd quarter of the NW game.

17 straight quarters without a holding call. That is not blindness, it is willfull ignorance."

That's absurd. I'm not going to leap onto the conspiracy bandwagon, but damn, that's ridiculous to go that long without a holding call.

  • Thank you guys for understanding...Isnt it odd OSU and Nebraska fans saying it is inconclusive, and continue with their little trolling? Typical.

Was hoping we could help you guys out. And I also love spoiling Nebraska as we shouldve won the 94 NC (you'll like this, we beat OSU 63-14 that year), or at the very least a share of the title, but the media had a soft spot for Osborne and handed him his 1st NC, despite PSU having a top 15 schedule and Nebraskas schedule was something like 73 that year.
