    Radiohead on Pixies

Most of this is taken from a documentary about Pixies called "Gouge" directed by Robin Mahoney. I am not associated with this film in any way. I am both a Radiohead and Pixies fan. I think Pixies deserve all the praise they can get, especially from such musicians as Radiohead. I hadn't seen anything like this on youtube so I decided to put this together. Thom Yorke is hilarious in this interview and I wanted to have a place with all of it in one spot. I added a few subtitles for clarification just in case. Hope you enjoy! "IT'S EDUCATIONAL!!"

Bonnie "Prince" Billy - There Is No God - ...

On June 21, Bonnie 'Prince' Billy will present "There Is No God" b/w "God Is Love" the new single from Bonnie 'Prince' Billy and features the musical talents of Emmett Kelly, Ben Hall, Pete Cummings, Peter Townsend, Billy Contreras, Cassie Berman and Rachel Korine. The songs were recorded by Mark Nevers and mastered by Paul Oldham. We are so very lucky to have the profits from the sale of these recordings go to Save Our Gulf c/o Waterkeeper Alliance and The Turtle Hospital to support efforts to clean up and maintain waterways and the lives dependent upon them. The funds from these sales and, in fact, all funds donated to Save Our Gulf go directly to support the work of seven Waterkeepers on the Gulf Coast who were directly impacted by the BP oil disaster. Save Our Gulf is a coalition of Waterkeepers brought together in the wake of the BP oil disaster to lead the fight to restore and protect local watersheds, coastal communities and the Gulf of Mexico. We hold polluters and decision makers accountable and promote the sustainability of our communities. Our vision is for all communities to have waterways that are swimmable, drinkable and fishable.

    Epitaph - King Crimson

"Epitaph" (Fripp, McDonald, Lake, Giles, Sinfield). From their debut studio album "In the Court of the Crimson King", 10/October/1969. * Robert Fripp -- Guitar * Ian McDonald -- flute, clarinet, saxophone, vibes, keyboards, mellotron, vocals * Greg Lake -- bass guitar, lead vocals * Michael Giles -- drums, percussion, vocals * Peter Sinfield -- lyrics, illumination * Barry Godber -- cover illustrations. Lyrics: The wall on which the prophets wrote Is cracking at the seams. Upon the instruments of death The sunlight brightly gleams. When every man is torn apart With nightmares and with dreams, Will no one lay the laurel wreath When silence drowns the screams. Confusion will be my epitaph. As I crawl a cracked and broken path If we make it we can all sit back and laugh. But I fear tomorrow I'll be crying, Yes I fear tomorrow I'll be crying. Between the iron gates of fate, The seeds of time were sown, And watered by the deeds of those Who know and who are known; Knowledge is a deadly friend If no one sets the rules. The fate of all mankind I see Is in the hands of fools. Confusion will be my epitaph. As I crawl a cracked and broken path If we make it we can all sit back and laugh. But I fear tomorrow I'll be crying, Yes I fear tomorrow I'll be crying. (including "March for No Reason" and "Tomorrow and Tomorrow"). ============================================= I do not own King Crimson. "In the Court of the Crimson King" belongs to King Crimson and EG Records Ltd.

Visit http://ournameisfun.com for more! directed by Anthony Mandler LYRICS Some nights, I stay up cashing in my bad luck Some nights, I call it a draw Some nights, I wish that my lips could build a castle Some nights, I wish they'd just fall off But I still wake up, I still see your ghost Oh Lord, I'm still not sure what I stand for oh What do I stand for? What do I stand for? Most nights, I don't know anymore... oh woah, oh woah, oh woah oh oh oh woah, oh woah, oh woah oh oh This is it, boys, this is war - what are we waiting for? Why don't we break the rules already? I was never one to believe the hype - save that for the black and white I try twice as hard and I'm half as liked, but here they come again to jack my style And that's alright; I found a martyr in my bed tonight She stops my bones from wondering just who I am, who I am, who I am Oh, who am I? Oh, who am I? mmm... mmm... Well, some nights, I wish that this all would end Cause I could use some friends for a change And some nights, I'm scared you'll forget me again Some nights, I always win, I always win... But I still wake up, I still see your ghost Oh Lord, I'm still not sure what I stand for, oh What do I stand for? What do I stand for? Most nights, I don't know... (come on) So this is it? I sold my soul for this? Washed my hands of that for this? I miss my mom and dad for this? No. When I see stars, when I see, when I see stars, that's all they are When I hear songs, they sound like this one, so come on Oh, come on. Oh, come on, OH COME ON! Well, this is it guys, that is all - five minutes in and I'm bored again Ten years of this, I'm not sure if anybody understands This one is not for the folks at home; Sorry to leave, mom, I had to go Who the fuck wants to die alone all dried up in the desert sun? My heart is breaking for my sister and the con that she call "love" But when I look into my nephew's eyes... Man, you wouldn't believe the most amazing things that can come from... Some terrible lies...ahhh... oh woah, oh woah, oh woah, oh oh oh woah, oh woah, oh woah, oh oh The other night, you wouldn't believe the dream I just had about you and me I called you up, but we'd both agree It's for the best you didn't listen It's for the best we get our distance... oh... It's for the best you didn't listen It's for the best we get our distance... oh...

Husker Du - Zen Arcade (Full Album)

Zen Arcade is the second studio album from the American punk rock band Hüsker Dü, released in July 1984 on SST Records. Originally released as a double album on two vinyl LPs, Zen Arcade tells the story of a young boy who runs away from an unfulfilling home life, only to find the world outside is even worse. The album incorporates elements of jazz, psychedelia, acoustic folk, pop, and piano interludes, concepts previously unheard of in the world of hardcore punk. Zen Arcade and subsequent Hüsker Dü albums were instrumental in the creation of the alternative rock genre; the band would later abandon the hardcore aesthetic entirely in favor of a post-hardcore style of melodic, guitar-driven alternative rock. While not commercially successful, the influence of Zen Arcade has stretched beyond the underground music sphere, and it is frequently included on lists of the all-time best rock and roll albums and continues to have a cult following. 1. Wire - Chairs Missing (Full Album)

Chairs Missing is the second studio album by English rock band Wire. It was released in August 1978. Although it features some of the minimalist punk rock of the band's debut Pink Flag, it features more developed song structure (taking some cues from 70's prog-rock, psychedelia, and art rock), keyboard and synthesizer elements brought in by producer Mike Thorne, and a broader palette of emotional and intellectual subject matter. The title is said to be a British slang term for a mildly disturbed person, as in "that guy has a few chairs missing in his front room" 1. "Practice Makes Perfect" Bruce Gilbert, Colin Newman 00:00 2. "French Film Blurred" Graham Lewis, Newman 04:08 3. "Another the Letter" Gilbert, Newman 06:44 4. "Men 2nd" Lewis 07:55 5. Wire - 154 (Full Album)

154 is the third album from the band Wire, released in 1979 (see 1979 in music) on EMI imprint Harvest Records in the UK and Europe and Warner Bros. Records in America. It was first issued on CD in 1987 by EMI Japan and later reissued by Restless Records in 1989. First editions of the vinyl album were accompanied by an EP, the tracks from which are included on the Harvest CD, issued in 1994, along with an additional bonus track. The new remastered release, released by Pinkflag (America) as digipacks in 2006, does not contain any extra tracks, because, according to the band, such additions dishonour the "conceptual clarity of the original statements." [8] The album is so named because the band had played 154 gigs in their career at the time of the album's release. Pitchfork Media listed 154 as 85th best album of the 1970s. 1. "I Should Have Known Better" (Graham Lewis) -- 00:00 2. "Two People in a Room" (Colin Newman, B. C. Gilbert) -- 03:52 3. "The 15th" (Newman) -- 06:03 4.
