One of my favorite things about 83 is that he tries to justify any borderline prospect by analyzing his offer sheet and talking up the mid-level BCS schools that have offered. He just talked about Cal as some WR-producing powerhouse. He also apparently thinks there is a lottery for the NFL draft.
He also claims to have contacts everywhere and go everywhere on business (and while there watch HS football).

Yeah, he has connections in basically every athletic department across the country. It's quite impressive. I wish I could know as much about football as he does.
