It's official that Denard will not play today, and Devin will start at QB again.

Devin Gardner will start at QB vs. Northwestern, in place of an injured Denard Robinson.
This doesn't change much; it gives Michigan a better pass game.

All I want to see if the offensive line play a complete game and we can run the ball straight at NW. Give me some Rawls. Here's to a UM win & a commitment or two.

If y'all don't think Denard gives us a better chance of winning.....you got another thing coming. I hope Devin does well today and proves that he can be the QB in the near future. However, he does not have the big game experience that Denard does. Denard is battle-tested and I wouldn't trade Denard for anyone at this point. He has done so much for this time thru our hard times. And I know Brady6, Joester, and mgoblue didnt do this; but I don't want this turning into a celebration that Denard is not playing. He has been special to our program and is the consumate team player in all regards. Get well soon Denard.

I agree with you Moon. Denard has done so much for this program since he stepped on campus. He has been there through out the team's entire overall struggles, even with our pourous defense from the last few years. I would love to see him on the field and break the all time QB rush record but not only that, enjoy the last few games he has in his UM career.
I hope DG does play well and not struggle because then things on any blog will turn ugly. D-Rob is the ultimate choice of what character,integrity and respect stand for.

Big game experience? How many times has Denard come up in big games? 3 times? Twice against ND and once against OSU is all I can think of.

This shouldn't be a hard game, Michigan should win this with ease, regardless is Denard is in or not.

Really? You don't break multiple records at UM and for the NCAA by only playing well in 3 big games. All 7 wins in his sophomore year were his alone. I thought he played well against MSU this year. Point of matter is that Denard is not replaceable. And anyone who thinks that is a clown.

BIG GAMES.
He's had plenty of stat padders against teams like Indiana, UMass, Eastern/Western Michigan, and Northwestern.
In games like OSU, ND, MSU, bowl games, and the Bama games, he's only come up big in 3 times. If you want to say he has a big games against Mississippi State, go ahead, but only scoring 14 points is not impressive.

You have to understand all the pressure on that kid to produce like he does in every game. Every conference game is big...he is the only threat we've had in 3 seasons. In 2010, every game he played was big, cause if he didn't pad stats against Indiana, UMASS, Illinois, etc....then we lose those games. No contest.
