Pretty sure they had at least 1 starting DL in, or at the very least 1 of the regular DL rotation guys was still in.

From the score, it looked like our defense did well and the run game worked today. Is that accurate?

Defense played very well IMO. Purdue's only touchdown came after we fumbled in our own end. Denard ran the ball well (220+), Fitz had problems gaining yards. Rawls came in during mop up time and looked pretty good running out of the I with Bellomy under center. I think Rawls had 25-30 yards on 2-3 carries.

Rawls also just looked stronger than Fitz. Fitz didn't break nearly as many tackles as he did against them last year, and Rawls was just breaking tackles left and right. It either took the sideline or multiple tacklers to get him down.
