It might actually be better if State beats Indiana tonight.
State's remaining games are : #1 Indiana, @ #18 Ohio, @#7 Michigan, #19 Wisconsin, and Northwestern.
Indiana's remaining games are: @ #4 State, @ Minnesota, Iowa, #18 Ohio, and @ #7 Michigan.
If Indiana wins tonight, it's likely that the Hoosiers end the conference slate with no more than 3 losses in B1G play. But if State wins tonight, then I can still see State losing 2 more games.
In essence, we have to hope that there will realistically be a 3-way tie among Indiana, Michigan, and State at 14-4 in conference play.

Now it's up to Minnesota to give Indiana its 3rd loss in conference play so that a tie for first place is still a possibility for Michigan.
And now that State lost this game at home, I hope Izzo's club suffers at least a 3 game losing streak which would essentially take the Spartans out of contention for the B1G Regular Season title.

A big difference between Indiana and Michigan...no hesitation on Indiana's part. Their guys are looking to be aggressive with the rock when it comes to them. I wish guys like GRIII and McGary would be aggressive. Seems like we're always trying to get the ball back to Trey; take your shot when you get it.
When Oladipo isn't playing against Michigan, I love watching him play.
