    Yep. That made the difference between settling the game in regulation, rather than going to OT.

  • OSU played a championship-caliber type game, ran a bit out of steam toward the end there but if Hardaway doesn't rain down treys in that 2nd half like he's shooting 60% career average from behind the line OSU wins this walking away.

    Same can be said about them. Ross and Smith are average outside shooters and they made a lot of shots tonight that they normally don't make

    i dont know a whole lot about hoops, but that was some good stuff (better if we won, but no sour grapes here)...

    maybe we will meet again in the tourney? hope so, but there are some really good teams in the big ten this yr...

    I hope we don't face you guys again this year lol, I mean that as a compliment. Craft is a tough little bugger, I'm sick of facing him. You guys really give us fits.

Their game thread has evolved into a "Michigan is classless for calling osu Ohio" discussion but there's also a thread praising Draymond and saying how awesome it was that he tackled a Rocket and got ejected trying to keep the Rockets from getting a 3 off to set the record for most 3s in a game lol.

    I'm calling them lansing after we play wisconsin.

    Nobody hated too much on Denard......he only won once. Also, he was not a very good QB. (Although he coulda been a beast as a slot/rb hybrid, but he throws like the kid and dad in the VW commercials.)

    It's like you don't even hear yourself.

    Even after he won in 2011, OSU fans talked about how terrible he was as a QB, how he was cocky, how he couldn't throw to save his life, etc. You almost hit on every highlight of the post-game Bucknut bitterness.

    But nothing you said was wrong. Read your own boards about him as a QB, or better yet, see where he started the last few games of his SENIOR year. (And if you say "his shoulder problem", then read what was said about how dynamic the offense was with DG at QB and Denard at not QB.) But hey, hell of a game and see you in the tourney.

    Haha I threw my remote. There were a few of those moments. Glad they swallowed their whistles after ignoring the flagrant.

    Definitely but that's kinda what I meant, too, OSU's overall effort and contributions from all their players were just top notch. Our effort felt a lot more disjointed and only sporadically top drawer and that series of 3s just had more of a "thank goodness" effect, it's not often that you hit like four 3s in a row even on a good day.

    Exactly like the non-call defensive holding in the Super Bowl. I can't stand the belief that you don't make that call at the end of the game. A foul is a foul is a foul. Regardless of the situation. Not calling a flagrant because the came is close is total b.s. Guess what? He decided the game by committing the flagrant.
