any new info on ty Isaac

    He may very well be. How has our recruitment been for RBs in 2014? Have we seen heavy recruiting this early in the process? Could be a marker ....confused

    Well, if Isaac goes to USC, there are other guys we like in the 2013 class first.

    Agreed. BH and team have been very aggressive with 2014 recruits. I believe the 2014 class will be the one that is special. I believe we learn Ty's decision soon, based on Davis announcement.

    I cannot imagine that Isaac would want to go there with two other high rated guys...but I have been wrong before.

  • I'd like to think that Isaac will commit to Michigan since Michigan is a lot closer to home.

  • At this point, I'd like to think Isaac is going to USC, and then when he commits to M I'll be pleasantly surprised, instead of another Garnett situation.

  • I do know Bo used to live close to Joliet. The possibility of him knowing the Isaac family is pretty good. It'd not surprise me at all especially with how well connected JCA is in that area . I think everyone needs to calm down on this recruiting thing. These are kids for gosh sakes.

    Ty Isaac, will not make or break our recruiting class. He could either be a big bust, mediocre, or great in college. I think his best opportunity is at Michigan. Hopefully, he feels the same.

  • Im kinda tired of USC coming in to our backyard and taking Midwestern kids away from us. Fred Davis, Ronald Johnson, Nick Perry, Kyle Prater were all 5 star guys that could have been stars had they stayed closer to home but they didnt and They all were bust at USC. Try Isaac will make a huge mistake going to USC. He will just be in a long line of guys who were big time players from the midwest to go to SC and fail.

    How is Nick Perry a bust considering he was a 1st Round pick. Fred Davis and Ronald Johnson also made it to the NFL, not too bad for busts. We are all Michigan fans but dont be that guy to degrade a school like USC. We will see where Ty ends up, keep the fingers crossed

    Really Ronald Johnson and Fred Davis were stars to you? Im not taking about them making it to the NFL hell lots of guys make it to the NFL. But did any of those guys live up to the hype?? No way. Also Nick Perry didnt even see the field till last year wow great pick he made. Im not hating on SC its a great school but lets face they show more loyalty to the west cost guys just the way it is.

  • The real question is how are we with D. Green? I know were up there, and hes maybe a clemson lean, but if we get him instead of Ty I dont care that he went to USC. That being said, its probably more likely for Ty to commit to #134 then Green, so lets not prolong the process and solidify our class to end all the speculation.

    I think green goes to Clemson. Ty wouldnt break this class but he would sure make it look amazing. Having Deveon Smith helps tho he is a great player.

    I think Green is next on our list...may be a stretch to get him but we are still in the game. Jordan Wilkins is another possibility. I think they will take one more guy if they have any shot at someone they like.

    I agree they will take another RB in this class if not Ty it will be someone else. I'm already happy with this class Hoke and staff have done a really great job.Just add a few more guys on the D line and a CB and call it a year.Then on to 2014.

    Fred Davis did win the Mackey Award as the best TE in the country his senior year, I suppose that should mean something. Nick Perry led the conference in sacks last season, 1st team All Conference, and ended up a 1st rd draft pick. Nick Perry saw the field every year he was at SC save for his frosh year due to the NCAA clearinghouse taking forever to clear him. His RS sophomore and junior years were marred by high ankle sprains and last year he was finally healthy for an entire season and the results are there in black and white.

    Ronald Johnson was a very steady and consistent WR at USC.

    Methinks you were just throwing stuff against the wall to see what would stick.

    Fred Daves was a 5 star WR coming in to SC they lied to him and told him they wouldnt make him a TE. Great he won an Award his last year there the guy was there for 5 years.He was ok nothing great. Nick Perry may have played every year but didnt really start till his last 2 years if u wanna call that great fine whatever. And Ronald Johson sucked dude if u think he was steady whatever the hell that means fine go for it. And what about Kyle Prater huh? I guess u kept him out for a reason.

  • I have this gut feeling that he ends up at USC. We haven't been on the winning end of these 50/50, two team battles. I'm not that confident about this one anymore.
