  • Thanks Steve! I know that a lot of people said that one of the cons of getting all our commits so early was that we wouldn't be able to identify talent at camps and get players who have breakout years - I think we just answered that. I see Csont'e breaking out in a big way

  • If I had to compare him on the limited video out there, I think a comparison to Marquise Walker would be a good assessment....GO BLUE

Me too. Incredibly solid prospect. I'm surprised he's not ranked higher, but I'm betting that will change.

  • Thanks for the article Steve and quotes Todd.

  • I really like his ability to high point the ball. Usually timing like that is based on instincts and body control and is hard to teach that.

  • Good luck to CB's trying to cover him and Dukes! I love that we're going after big bodied pass catchers on the outside. Not just burners, but guys who can go up and get the ball and run great routes. IMO, it's alot harder to defend guys with size who can high point the ball than it is to defend speed.

Kind of off topic but does anyone have an official height for Dukes? He's clearly huge but I've seen everything from 6'3" to 6'6"

  • Sounds like a great commit, I'm really glad we've got a prototypical big guy in our backyard. I look forward to finding out more about him, and I imagine Shane has to be loving seeing the monsters we're bringing in for him to target. Welcome to the family Csont'e!

  • I know some people will be a little anxious over not getting some of the higher ranked WR's on the board, but York looks like a solid player and I'd rather we lock up this class with guys who WANT to be in the Maize n Blue so that we can focus on the big fish & 2014 guys.

No concerns at all here. Look .... Michigan already as Dukes, who will probably be a 4* after his senior season. We are in on Treadwell, and if we land him adds another 4*. This is a great hedge my risk bet. Beautiful and masterful IMO.

As long as we land Treadwell i'm not worried. I don't think we had a very good chance with any of the other high ranked WRs out there. Guy reminds me alot of Chesson based on his video, which is ok I guess. Hope for the best but i'm not going to put him on the same level as Larue or Treadwell or Daniels or somebody like that.

  • With another season in HS and more camps this kid's stock is only going to go up. Even if it doesn't, I don't care. Welcome aboard Csont'e, get ready to raise the crystal football...
