You make a good point. They really ought to land him as long as they offer at a reasonable time. Why not just spend his first few years of high school building a great relationship, and then if he does pan out as they hope he will, offer him then.

If that's the case then it's not early. it's a good move. if he's playing good as a freshman then you know he's worthy of an offer. an early offer was ND and bama giving jayru campbell an offer.
