Would you rather have Kiffin or the sweater vest??

  • Which one is the least malignant to a football program? I mean there is so much shady stuff going on with Kiffin lately, but he also didnt cause his future team a shot at this years national championship game....well atleast not yet.

  • Again, gotta go with Tressel. At least he tried to be and looked like a good human being instead of being a douchebag. Also, he was a far superior coach to Kiffin (at least so far, and I'd guess that won't change).

    Although I'd much prefer option C - neither.

    yep...going with "C" on this one as well. That said, Kiffen is a scumbag, but when its all said and done, he knows everyone is calling him a scumbag now and all that really matters to him is he gets his recruits (and some very talented ones at that), and this time next year...almost no one, very few will remember what went down with Kylie Fitts. I can almost see the smirk on his face from here. Tressel on the other hand...well...not very many people can get away with cheating, lying and covering things up in a football program... put that program on probation...ban them from post season play...and yet still get a standing ovation when returning and being celebrated by 100K people for doing those things.

    To be able to pull off receiving a standing ovation after all that???? THAT takes a ton of skill. Of course we are talking about the Ohio fanbase here.

  • Sweatervest hands down.

    Kiffin is a great recruiter but that is it. He really has done nothing good as a head coach and has done nothing to build a program. He left Tennessee in the poorest shape they have ever been in. A historic program turned into a true dumpster fire. Kiffin is well on his way to doing the same at USC.

    Sweatervest was a great recruiter also. Sweatervest won a NC put his teams in place to compete for other national championships. Although Sweatervest probably did do other shady things he was only busted for trying to cover up his players poor choices. There is really no comparison on who is better. Tressel is by far better.

  • I'd rather have neither of them. One is a lier and a cheat, but a very good coach. The other has no redeeming qualities that I can see other than being a good recruiter, so my reluctant vote goes to the vest.

  • I think the choice is a no brainer. Kiffin is all flash and no substance. Tressel was little flash and a lot of substance. And he got busted and is out of football for his players sell stuff and getting free tattoo's. Tressel all the way on this one.
