Please do not take what I am saying as excuses or anything as such. Believe me, I feel disgraced by what went on. Honestly...disgraced. But I am slowly accepting that this stuff happens at all schools. Again, my comfort is in that nothing was found on the recruiting front.

Let me ask you this: when those recruits are being hosted by team members, do you think any stories were told those kids by current players?

Quick fix to all memorabilia problems in college. All championship rings all gold pants all swag and blind earned while at school are given to the kids and then, in august of the following year take them back and tell the lads when you graduate or leave the program you get them all. We'll keep them in a safe place fir you. Then they can do whatever the he'll they want with gold pants or rings or whatever.

Coaches knew that was going on and they knew about the leased cars. Just step in at least after the second time a star player is pulled over in a brand new leased vehicle. You have to know it will bite you in the ass eventually.

Agree about the fix. Give them all their winnings after graduation.

  • I guess its possible. But again, this is something that is happening in more locations that we would like to believe. Players talk. It is the coaches that were investigated and found to not have recruiting violations.
