  • Wouldn't have faced him anyway. He was supposed to graduate in about a week.

Yep, he's played four seasons already. Odd that this would happen at AF.

Based off of? That was a different D Coordinator running a 3-3-5 against Air Force...

Borges is a common item, but he is running a different system than he did at SDSU...

  • agree that the game last yr between sdsu and af is immaterial to our game against them but does anyone really have any worries? I realize they run an offense that is quite out of the norm and tricky to defend but we clearly field much better athletes than af and they were decimated this year by graduation, they return only 6 starters total from last year, losing a qb that actually made their offense 2 dimensional, from what i've read the replacement is strictly a running qb and they have moved a fb to rb because of depth issues. I don't believe that the falcons will be able to run the ball down our throat the entire game which is what they would have to do to have any chance of winning this game

Nope not worried at all. Even if we have some trouble stopping their offense, I expect Denard and Fitz to be able to run wild on their D.

I really don't even think we'll have any problem stopping the offense, They will be completely 1 dimensional and i think our strong LB core will shut that down and also the offense should have a field day against a very weak af defense, i fully expect to watch denard, fitz and roundtree light up a weak defense, definetly not an upset watch on my schedule, more like a blowout alert for us UM fans
