Yea my list was in order of talent, and frankly I was more impressed with Vanderdoes than Adams - especially in terms of how I think they'd fit into Michigan's system. There's no doubt that Adams is a stud, but I'd prefer Vanderdoes.

Michigan's really doing a great job of deciding who they want, and then leaving no stone unturned in trying to land them. Some prospects are being more highly recruited than others, though, which is natural as the coaching staff continues to prioritize.

PSU's definitely in it for Webb. Especially if you take his comment seriously about valuing position coach. Don't think anyone can top LJ Sr. for DL.
Webb visited PSU, had such great remarks about it to Drennon that Drennon visited this weekend (Webb was actually going to visit for the second weekend in a row, but visited MD instead), and now Drennon is very high on PSU. I'd say we're very much in the mix for Webb.

This is one of the positive reasons to fill up your class early.
It lets the coaches be VERY selective and recruit those guys hard.

Yeah, but how many schools can say they have 3 coaches who have all been successful DL coaches at one point or another, including the current head coach who has a national title ring coaching D Line for Michigan.

Oh definitely. His top six should be Michigan, PSU, MSU, OSU, Iowa and Maryland.
Based on his interviews so far, I'd say Michigan, PSU and MSU are stronger players than the rest.

Last week, Sicklerville (N.J.) defensive end DaJaun Drennon received rave reviews from teammate Greg Webb about his trip to Penn State. This week, it was the other way around.

That's certainly strong in your favor. But IMO, LJ goes way beyond just "successful." The last 10 years he's produced something like 7-8 first round picks.
