    Truth. The rest of the B1G...probably not so happy. Although with division realignment we are really just handing the west to Nebraska every year.

    There are maybe 3 OSU posters who come to this board that I'm ok with. dukeluke, dkerns, and Huburt are all ok. If I have to give those three up to avoid all the trolls, I'm perfectly fine with that. We haven't had a Bucknut-free post on this board for weeks.

    There are a few others that post regularly that are good (bestofthebig, richardparker, etc.). The trolls usually get bounced after a couple of posts.

    Ah, I forgot about richardparker, he's another good one. Bestofthebig is good about 90% of the time, but he can be annoying sometimes.

    And please don't take anything I say as an indictment of the mods, because that's not at all what I'm saying. You guys do a hell of a job getting rid of the trolls when they emerge. I don't even bother PMing anyone about trollish posts because you guys are on top of it.

    I'm trying to get that up to 99% but sometimes it's hard to refrain from getting in the mix when a Wolverine shows it's teeth...peace

    296 days to be exact. We will have to see how many of these recruits have impact in year one. Can't wait to see how the OSU class develops. Last highly ranked class was with TP. That class ultimately was disappointing.

    ESPN was doing a rundown of some of the biggest recruiting battles of the last 10 years, and they would list player, schools competing, who won, etc.

    When they got to Pryor, the post said:

    "Terrell Pryor

    Schools: Michigan, Ohio State

    Winner: Ohio State (kinda)."

    Other than the obvious off the field stuff, I'm not sure we can call it disappointing. It was the backbone of 3 BCS appearances in which they went 2-1 (and should've beat Texas to go 3-0). 99% of college programs would kill for that success and that class.

    I have to laugh at all the Buckeyes trumpeting their NSD success this year. How quickly the failure to lure Stefon Diggs and Davonte Neal is forgotten.

    That said, Urban did indeed do a great job this year. And he's a great recruiter. Some years he'll get his late victories, some he won't.

    Wow, pulling out two recruits that Urban had a whole 5 weeks to try to recruit....Diggs stayed home, I could research and find out what schools were trying to get him for the entire year and lost out, but I don't care that much. I think Urban did fine last year with no time invested, and obviously did very well this year. I will give your boy B.O.B. kudos for getting a good class this year under the sanctions, but don't get too carried away as the real answer to the test will be what kind of team you can field in year 4 of your sanctions (if they aren't lifted by lawsuit)...For the record, I hope they are reduced for the good of the BIG, although I won't be crushed if they aren't due to some of your fans that I would like to see suffer through some tough seasons.
