Outside of the Pouncey's, I see Florida as having three other linemen in the NFL from Meyer's tenure:
Marcus Gilbert, who was drafted 63rd but got some good playing time. Maurice Hurt, who was drafted in the 7th round, who bounced around a bit before getting a chance to start due to injuries. Phil Trautwine, an undrafted free agent who has bounced between practice squads.
The Pouncey's do seem to be a bit of an outlier.

you guys are doin great recruiting the State of Ohio right now. Way to go! just one question...is this because Michigan is having a down year or do you always look to Ohio for the talent? You seem to have quite a few more Buckeyes on your team than Ohio State has Wolverines...just asking, not trying to flame out here or anything.

I just read over on Mgob that Pocic called Funk and asked him if Michigan would still take his commitment. I guess he was told yes. The original info came from Wolverine Nation and TomVH. Pocic to UM and Biven to ND, man, there aren't even going to be scraps left.

Are there any of the 5 current lineman that may be ran off by the addition of someone like Pocic? They all seem to be blue-collared guys who know they'll have to work for everything they get, but I don't know as much about '13 recruits yet.

By saying "Tiillman, Kugler, Fox, Bosch, Dawson" a few times and then thinking about making roster spots for three of Gedeon, McCray, O'Daniel, and Levenberry.
I get that Pocic is a fantastic player and would be a great addition, but this staff told recruits they were taking five, and we can be sure that Pocic will not be the last high-caliber player that will part ways with Michigan because there isn't room.

Perhaps. McCray and O'Daniel can both play on the other side of the ball.
Whatever the case may be, I think this staff has a recruiting plan that called for five OL commits, I think the plan is going amazingly well. As good as Pocic may be, I just don't think it would be very hard to say "Sorry we're full" if he doesn't fit into their positional goals.

Will Meyer be left with scraps at OL?
