Will Meyer be left with scraps at OL?

  • A mod should update this OP, imo.

  • Why all the fuss about who Urban didn't get as opposed to who he HAS gotten? Concerned? You should be especially on Sat.

  • Starting in '14 already I see. Just a few months ago this kid was a LOCK to OSU

2014 4-star OT Demetrius Knox picks Texas

Demetrius Knox stated over the past few months that Texas was his leader. Recently he said hed no longer name a leader to keep people guessing, but the speculation is over.

Also, they whiffed on another 2013 kid.

Darius Latham committed to Indiana over OSU.

Latham should decommit and commit somewhere else, just so OSU can officially strike out with him by whiffing 3 times.

Amazing that he would pick Mack Brown/Texas (currently 8-3) over Urban Meyer/Ohio (finished 12-0).

But I am certainly not complaining.

He is friends with that RB that a lot of like that committed to UT. Gresham I think his name is

Daniel Gresham and Knox were pretty much always going to be a package deal.

Latham is a DT. We already have Bosa and Hill at that position (both higher rated).

Haha, I don't know if OSU can take it any more. They've been out-recruited by so many lesser schools it's sad. Not sure what I would do if we lost a recruiting battle to Indiana. no

    That said, I'm loving it.

Latham is an OT according to 247sports.

You know what we wouldn't do? We wouldn't go pick up an overweight low-3 star from Indiana that even Indiana didn't want.

Latham's an OT - that's where he's been recruited everywhere, and that's where he has stated he wants to play in college.

My bad, I haven't followed his recruiting--was just going by the position he's listed at on ESPN and Rivals (which are not always right of course).

Nah, it's cool. It's like Wyatt Shallman being listed as a DE on a bunch of different services, despite us offering him and accepting him strictly as a RB.

  • Well, the low ranked OL players we currently have, moved the DL pretty well all year. So, I'm not going to freak out over a kid picking Indiana where he'll see the field as a frosh.

Actually Latham's a DT. He is listed as at OT but has said publically He wants to PLAY DT. He has chosen schools that have told him he can play DT. tOSU told him OT. So DukeLuke you were correct. Just because his 247 profile says OT doesn't make it right. He wants to Play DT and was going to Wisc and now IU because they will allow him to take a shot at DT first. Also, Latham was not a high Priority for tOSU. They went other ways. Namely Dorian Johnson. They couldn't get him to leave his hometown.

Oh and by the way good luck with LTT. I have heard so many raving reviews of that kid... Oh wait never mind kid hasn't improved a bit and got made to look like a fool this past summer at camps. You lost your Best Corner and Best OLine prospect in Dawson and Conley. Keep up the good work at not finishing a class and eventually falling behind tOSU and team Meyer at everything.

    You mad. roflmao

We could lose any two of our remaining 4 OL prospects and our OL class would still be better than yours.

Low ranked... all of Ohio's current starting Olinemen were 4 and 5 star recruits.

Yo, scoreboard... Oh wait... that would mean you would have to count above 9... those double digit numbers always get you kids that attend AACC.
