Just look at all the ND OL kids, except Elmer they all had high UM interest. Who knows now since they are winning.

Good point. I feel like Michigan does need a slot WR in this class but they have really focused on getting big receivers that can make plays on the outside down the field. Maybe Michigan feels like a few current players could make that switch the slot position if they need them to? Anyways, I like that your thought.

We took four very high quality OL in the 2012 class and have four more committed for 2013. And we have Jack Miller and Chris Bryant from the 2011 class. IMO we should make a run at Pocic and maybe McGovern, but if those are a bust just take five in 2014. Losing Dawson stings because it sounds like he's going to be a good one, but from a numbers perspective we are fine.
Note: We've also got several solid walk-ons.

No way.

You are forgetting the 2009 and 2010 classes. We currently have have 17 OL on the team, 11 of whom were originally offered as scholarship players. We will lose three of those after this year (assuming Lewan comes back) and have four committed for the 2013 class. Clearly the coaches wanted a fifth in the 2013 class and if they can replace Dawson with a high quality prospect in the same class I am sure they will. But if they can't, waiting until the 2014 class won't create any serious problems.

My guess is they are going to go after the best available. Sure they will give Pocic a call, maybe a couple others...but I think you go after the best players on the board at this point.
