i never said he couldnt, you are quite right he COULD. I am just saying right now he is a good athlete. he will need a lot of polishing at the LB position. he is ranked a 4 star prospect by every recruiting site but only had national offers from Tennessee and stanford (per scout) besides B1G schools. If he was more polished at the position all of the big dogs would have offered and Tenn and Stan are not powerhouses.

Offers CAN be an indicator of the talent level of a prospect, but not always. If a kid doesn't go to a lot of Nike camps, recruiting services aren't going to rate him real high and he's not going to be known well enough to attract offers nationally. But since we're on the subject, I'll tell you this. Scout's midwest analyst Trieu was one, if not the only to have a chance to observe Gedeon multiple times. Guess who has Gedeon rated highest? Scout, at #159 nationally.
