I'm excited to see how the freshman step up this year and the LB corp.

Season in general.
Bama game.
Offense, Rawls and Darboh.
Defense, Campbell, Countess and Ryan.

I'll tell you what I am not excited about, and that is Denard being a senior. But with that being said, I'm very excited for Shane Morris.

To answer the question though, more than anything I think I am just excited for the season in general.. Really want to see this senior class to play in the Rose Bowl before they leave.

Watching Denard make great plays is an obvious answer but what I am most excited for is watching Craig Roh and Will Campbell shut up all the naysayers and dominate opposing OLs. Yep you heard me say it. Will Campbell and Craig Roh are going to be absolute beasts this year.

I'm most excited to see what these two coordinators do with such a wide variety of talent.

Mattison could likely switch easily to about any formation he wants this year, from a 1-5-5 okie to the 46 bear with Kovacs, granted the impact freshman show up like we expect. There are gonna be blitzes coming from every direction, and I'm expecting BWC to end up getting a fat man touchdown on an interception return from a zone drop.

And then on offense, there is a really good chance Rawls is gonna get some bigtime game experience early in the season and will provide a very reliable thunder to Fitz's lightning. After them you still have V. Smith who can do anything, and Justice Hayes who could be more electric than all of them. Even the tight end position will be incredibly varied, even if the ceiling is low for the group this year.

And of course there is the best running QB in the nation starting his second year in a west coast offense, and the likelihood that there will be two extremely athletic QB's on the field at once for quite a few plays.

If you really get into the strategy, systems, and schematics of football, you will be hard pressed to every find a football team with the possibilities that the Michigan football team has.

This is gonna be a fun season.

The Iowa game as that will be the only game I'll be able to attend. Also the ability of Denard to make better reads in year two of Borges's system. Possibly the emergence of a few underclassmen in key spots.

Everything. I'm so football-deprived, I'm going to be jumping out of my seat when the boys just run out of the tunnel.

However, if I had to choose:

-Denard's senior season. You just know he's going to leave absolutely everything on the field.

-Ditto for Kovacs.

-The emergence of the young defense: Countess, Ryan, Beyer, Morgan, Bolden, Wilson, and possibly even Pipkins will probably get significant minutes this year, and I'm very excited to see what Mattison can do with all this young talent.

-Roy Roundtree returning to form/other WRs stepping up.

-Finally, I'm excited to see Thomas Rawls. I think he's going to be an absolute punisher of a RB, and I'm hoping significant carries early in the season help establish him as the knockout punch in our 1-2 combo of Fitz and Rawls.

I am excited to see how physical this team is... Last year they were quite physical and that helped them grind out some wins, but they were still small in stature... 1 more year with Wellman and I think we see a big nasty team that will look to apply the hurt instead of absorb it... I miss the days of our OL getting into a groove and running the ball non stop down the opponents throats... The DL the same way... Blowing up the play and leaving their O no choice but have to throw the ball... That would help a lot because the QBs in the B1G are pretty bad at throwing it around

Borges has also been talking about how much Denard is progressing and if he is even adequate passing the ball, that should the DL find time to gel... 1st game will be a real test and a win would be a tremendous boost for this program but it should be an even greater learning experience for the coaches and players on what it takes to win against the best
