I'll tell you what I am not excited about, and that is Denard being a senior. But with that being said, I'm very excited for Shane Morris.
To answer the question though, more than anything I think I am just excited for the season in general.. Really want to see this senior class to play in the Rose Bowl before they leave.

As we all know, the season opener is just over three weeks away. When you think about Michigan's 2012 season, what are you most excited about?
A particular player? A coach? A scheme? A particular game? Just the season in general?

I'm excited for year two of the Hoke era. Most good new coaches get a transition year, but by year two you really begin to see a significant improvement. We were fortunate in year one (maybe God felt sorry for us after the RR debacle), but the real big test is year two. We have a much tougher schedule this year. If we can work our way through that schedule without taking a big step backward in W-Ls, it will prove to me we really have an elite HC and staff. It also will strengthen our amazing momentum in recruiting into 2014 and 2015.
We need to win the B10 this year. And we can win the B10 this year. Every team has players to replace and holes to fill and an elite staff should be able to do that without a signigicant falloff. IMO we should win every regular season B10 game easily this year except for Nebraska and Ohio. And if we can win one of those two tough road games, we will be headed to the BTCCG. It's time for Michigan to return to its rightful position at the top of the B10.
