Go Blue & Gig Em'!
Alabama fans were like Red Sox fans were before they won in 2004. A humbled, beaten bunch that you felt sorry for, and you wanted to see their team have some success just to cheer them up..............until they actually HAD success and became an insufferable group of colossal twats.
theres a pretty narrow gap on this list below....also look at how many majors Michigan is highly ranked in the nation, compare that to Alabama, then get back to me.

I wonder if our 69% graduation rate has anything to do with the fact that over 50% of the 2009 recruiting class left the program before their senior years, or the massive amount of attrition seen from the 2010 recruiting class. Also, I dont want to make any wild generalizations, but I'm sure the curriculum for football players at Alabama is not as rigorous as it is at Michigan, hence when you couple that with all the transfers from the program over the past 4 years, the arbitrary ADR (which doesn't reflect the academic institution as a whole) is not as high as it will be in the future.

Hey threemil.....hows Alabamas Nuclear Engineering program? Well Michigan was ranked #1 in the nation. If you dont believe me, look 2 posts above, and you will see how many other programs blew Bamas out of the water on a national basis.

Guys, don't kid yourselves. Michigan does not have a monopoly on academics. In case you guys have not checked the facts in the last 20 years, Alabama currently has a pretty good academic reputation overall, and excells in its business and medical schools. Also, Bama is in the top ten in APR. Bama will not drop out for this guy because of academics. We are not Tennessee or LSU; we are more like Florida, Vandy, And Georgia.
