Yeah, Meyer's back at it this year, too. I think he told Drake Harris and Demarre Kitt that they were his #1 target at WR.

Awsome write-up Steve! Really love the detail. One thing I would love to see .... the top 2 or 3 things the recruit is looking for in a school. It would be interesting to understand 'what' the coaches need to sell to convince the recruit, and how that compares with other recruits.

That may be hard to ascertain from kids who dont really know or may be too early in the recruiting process to understand what they want.
kids could also change their mind frequently after visiting schools. Greatbidea, but seemsbit may be difficult.

But know, This article states that academics being the top factor. But on NSD, espn conducted an anonymous interview and the relationship with the coaches was top with academics not even in the top 3. So even still there is some fog to the real deal.
To your sales pitch, the coaches get a feel what the kids true interest are. You saw that in the mcquay recruitment and likely the same with hand, focusing a lot on the academics.
