By the same logic, UM should be ranked lower also; both teams lose the same number of players.

Yes, MSU does lose a lot, there is no denying it.
Once again, though, UM has the same issue.
The only UM player who made the all-B1G 1st Team was David Molk.
The only UM player who made both the coaches and media's all-B1G 2nd Team was Mike Martin.
