It's a really eye-opening interview. He really goes pretty in-depth about a lot of stuff.

I loved Henson.I was in Ann Arbor for his freshmen year. Clamored for him over Brady every Saturday. Hated the 2 QB style, Lloyd was running. Part of my hatred fro the Yankees was them taking Henson in what could have been a phenomenal Sr year

Lol, me too. Most non-Michigan fans don't have any idea that Tom Brady wasn't the clear starter at Michigan. Most are incredulous when you tell them how Brady had to split time with Drew Henson (who?) and most fans liked Henson (the golden boy) better because they thought he was Michigan's future.

Yep...I think Jeter was also prowling the sidelines in Ann Arbor when Drew was a Yankee. Its about the same time we preached that Jeter would have gone to Michigan had he gone the college route. People like him we adopt when it suits us. Like Michael Phelps, Madonna, Kevin Garnett and I even think Lebron was talking Michigan had they gone collegiate

It was far from a 2 QB system, but 1999 was certainly more than mop up duty. Brady was the starter, and the better QB. Henson was getting time because they were worried about losing him to baseball. He did come into his own JR year, and I do think if he stayed for his SR year, Terrell would have too, and Michigan would have had a NC and maybe a Heisman winning QB.
