I think there is a fair chance by early next year he will be the coach. But that is different than believing that anything we are hearing today has any validity other than a guess.

Come on man, be realistic. How was Tress cheating ? Was he stealing your playcalling signals, did he secretly videotape your practices ? Did he pay recruits to come to tOSU instead of UM ? Exactly how did Tressel cheat ? I'll give you the fact that he covered up the tat 5 but that was only 1 game against UM that he knew about the scandal. So how did he cheat to beat you the other 7 times ?

There really is a disconnect in the minds of buckeye fans. Extra benefits for your players is cheating, it helps immensely in recruiting as well. Please don't be so naive as to believe that the vest only found out about this culture of cheating, that he himself propagated, last year.

I can honestly say I'm not scared of Meyer going to OSU. I think OSU will probably be very good with him, they'll recruit well, they'll win a lot of games. But I really think we will, too. I think we potentially will benefit from Hoke's emphasis on defense. Meyer's teams had some good defenses, obviously, but it's really not his strength. I also think we will benefit somewhat in recruiting from being the only team running a pro style among us, OSU, and ND, the big three in the midwest.
The point is that OSU will probably be really good if they hire Meyer, but we will be, too. And we may have some great battles in the upcoming years. You can recognize that they will be good and still think the two programs will be pretty even and have some great games with high stakes. That's how this rivalry is supposed to be. Why would we be scared of that?
