I really don't mean to pick a fight and I'm pretty new here, but can we not call them O$U? It's not much better than them calling us scUM. In general, I think twisting the names of opposing teams, players, and coaches into some unclever form that insults them reflects far worse on us than it does on them. If we don't want to call them OSU, I think TSIO (That School in Ohio) and simply Ohio as Hoke calls them would be better options. Not sinking to MSU/OSU board level insults.

So what if its true? Good. I think it will be a good thing for the conference and therefore for Michigan to have a big name coach come in and "rescue" tSIO. Plus, at this point, if you were given a choice of having Hoke or Meyer as Michigan's head football coach next year, who would you choose?
The answer is easy for me - Brady Hoke. No question. I can't say enough good things about Hoke. His recruiting, his coaching, his respect for the school and its tradition, his humility, they way he treats the players and on and on....
Lol, I'd love to see a poll on this. Does 247 do polls? I'd love to see who Michigan fans would like better as their head coach, Hoke, Meyer or anyone else for that matter? Before Hoke came in last January in I would've easily said Meyer or Harbaugh or Miles over Hoke. I'm so happy I was wrong. Brady Hoke seems to be tailor-made for this job and I don't give a fuck who Ohio chooses for its next coach.

you cant be serious??
Urban Meyer: 104-23 (.819) 7-1 in bowls (2 National Championships).
vs.
Brady Hoke: 55-52 1-1 in bowls.
You can bet that Hoke's recruiting in Ohio will disappear once Urban comes to OSU. The wall around Ohio will be 500 feet higher!

I'm skeptical of it. His father just died a week ago, I just don't see him as the type of guy who would turn around after such an event and make such a huge decision like agreeing to coach at Ohio State.
However, I'm not going to deny for a second that there's such a long long long list of coaches I would rather see end up at OSU than Urban Meyer.... they guy wins and he can recruit extremely well too. Him going there just makes things that much more difficult for Michigan.
