In a rush at the moment, but I'll answer this shortly.

Think he would be a perfect G for UM. He is athletic and when asked to block down on the DT then get to the next level, LB, he does that well. Guess this goes for any high school kid he is inconsistent at times, I noticed it with his footwork. Also there are time he gets a hold of the defensive player and pushes him then takes a few steps then pushes him again, but then you see his get attached to the line player and just drive him to the ground.

That's a great question, and I could see it going either way. The other side of the coin would be that it might be better to take the more local prospects, as they're more likely to go to your rival schools if you don't get them than a kid from Florida would be. But you also make a great point.

My initial instinct is that the coaches take the best player, period, wherever he's from. Everything being equal, I think in-state prospects would get the first priority. After that (say there's one prospect from Illinois and one from Florida), I'm really not sure - could see it going either way.
