  • The only things cut out were the time between plays. Because of this a few motions were cut partly off. It's a non-issue and we complied the second they complained.

    Wtf would OSU spend time and effort editing down film before sending it to another team unless it was in their own interest to do so? This smells. The B10 should adopt a rule requiring each team to provide raw game footage showing the entire field from the coin flip to the final whistle to the B10 offices within a few hours of the completion of every game. The B10 should then maintain an online library of every game that B10 member teams can access as needed. This whole swapping game film concept is way outdated.

    I don't know. The whole thing is odd. But the only things cut were in between plays. Narduzzi himself said it provided no advantage in the same breath as complaining about it. They complained and we resent the tapes immediately.

    And I agree the whole process is outdated.

    My fellow Wolverines - I HATE URBAN CRYER. He & Lane Kiffin are the two worst examples of coaches I have ever seen. That's all & Blue, Win em all

  • First I'd like to say Urban is a highly polished terd. Some people here might not agree but I am glad he is at OSU. Meyer has all ready done a few things to piss off some other B1G coaches. I say good. Hopefully the other coaches get that the B1G is not going to be the gentleman's club it has become. Maybe the other coaches will strive to work harder in coaching and recruiting to put Urban in his place.

    To not give the other team the whole film or a doctored up film is dirty. To have the coach from the dirtiest playing team in the B1G cry about someone else doing something dirty is laughable.

    Yeah because the schools exchange espn footage.

    The B1G is going to have to keep a close eye on slimy Urban. He is going to have sanctions in 5 years or less for sure so enjoy.

    This didn't change the outcome of the game, but it's a violation of the rules so might as well call them out now to stop this crap now.

    Oh I think Urban has pissed a lot of schools off in the B1G and outside. I obviously don't like UM but I respect UM. They play by the rules and have always been a great rival for us. I don't respect OSU, probably the only school I don't respect in the B1G besides the new Illinois regime because of the BS with the Penn State recruiting.

    hey something UM and MSU fans can agree on, the world must be coming to an end lol but yea urbie showed right away what a dirty and underhanded person he is. He was there what like 3 months when they self reported 42 minor violations. The guy is a sneaky little weasle and guarenteed to get ohio in alot more trouble than jt did.

However, I worked at FIU in the SBC for a few years as an assistant video coordinator and this kind of thing is not uncommon. But for MSU to claim they did not have access to film HAS to be untrue. We (at FIU) had film of all of our opponents at least one week in advance. It isn't something you (as a video guy) collect altogether one week before the game, Grad Assistants are analyzing opponent's game film over a week prior to a game being played. If that isn't happening at MSU, that's a systematic issue on their part.

    (Edit to clarify) My favorite team is the Buckeyes (hometown team), but I also wear my Alma Mater's colors proudly.

    none of us are saying it affected the game, just the opposite everyone has said msu are being crybabies and making excuses. The point is it was a classless move by urbs and he's been underhanded in alot of things.

    The allegation wasn't that Michigan State didn't have access to the film. What they said is that Ohio State edited out the pre-snap shifts and motions from some of the plays on film. If true, that's a clear violation of the rules.

    I really have no inside information on this, so I have no idea whether or not it's true. But in general, you wouldn't think Michigan State would even bring it up unless they were fully convinced that something shady happened.

  • normally I find michigan posters to be some of the most rational and enjoy many of the contributors particularly neoavatara, but this is nonsense, they reported it and it was corrected. It was completely a non-issue in the game and MSU had access to the full film. As far as the rest of Urban is a snake or cheater mentality.. Where is any evidence that he has cheated in any of his previous positions? Or are you saying it's slimy that he flipped recruits?
