Agree.. going to depend on how drunk he was when he got pulled over.
If he blew a 0.081 and can make the excuse he didn't realize he was over the limit, plus it's a first offense, plus he's legal age, he might just have a more-rough camp.
If he blew a 0.12 and was clearly intoxicated... he's not playing this year (and shouldn't, IMO).

While I wish he didn't make this mistake and could start the year on the field, IMO this could be a good thing for the team in many ways. Not only the emotional side of it and getting through adversity, but Smith/Rawls will be an extremely formidable plan B. I'm a huge believer in Rawls and think he could be a very productive back who consistently wears down defenses, then you throw in Smith's speed/agility and you can cause some problems. Most people are chalking up the Bama game as an L anyway, so if we lose respectably with our backups it could show in the perception>>rankings later in the year. Air Force and UMass should be W's no matter who is in the backfield (not overlooking Air Force I know they are a quality squad, but I do not see us losing that game). No matter the case, Brady Hoke is the type of coach I love having at a time like this. He will not let this go lightly
