that's where I disagree; it's ok you, UM, and Brady Hoke will live despite my opinion.

Anyway, back to the orignal point of this thread - Yes, I think UM has alot of recruiting pull. No, I don't think every player Hoke has taken is a future star. Yes, I wish MSU had UM's recruiting pull. Yes, I would rather see MSU land highly rated recruits. Yes, I think there is talent out there that is equal to (and even greater) than talent rated above it. Yes, I think MSU cango out and find talent that isn't as obvious but develops at an equal level - theyve had too many no name guys get drafted at both Cincy and MSU to deny it. They can find NFL talent that many teams miss out on.

It's my hope that MSU's recruiting pull grows stronger. I'd like to see MSU land the Clifton Garrett's and the Leveon Bells, instead of just relying on the two star surprise Leveon Bells. Do I think MSU is at a point where they will land Garrett? I have no idea - I lean towards no until they prove me wrong. I hope they do.

the point of this thread is "yay UM recruiting is sweet dude" and "haha MSU recruiting is crap and they can't hang". So, yes it fits. Now go on hating. :) I really do enjoy rooting against UM; you guys make it easy haha.

Actually, the point of the thread was that Clifton Garret was excited for a Michigan visit, unfortunately, he couldn't make it.

Actually the point of the article was Clifton Garrett visiting UM. The point of the thread was something far different. Your condescension aside, what you say strikes a chord with me - namely, what on earth do I think I can accomplish talking to UM fans about a subject like this? Nothing positive will come of it.

I had a different response but it was apparently deleted - I suppose it doesn't matter. It's not like anything constructive will come of this conversation. To UM fans, MSU writers provide misinformation. To MSU fans, UM writers provide misinformation. Good luck this year. Hopefully not against MSU, though :)
