According to the article, Steve thinks Michigan is:
The team to beat for CB Parrker Westphal (IL), DB Damon Webb (MI), LB Michael Ferns.. obviously (OH), WR Derek Kief (OH)
In the top group for DE Malik McDowell (MI - along with ND)
In consideration for TE Nic Weishar (IL), ATH Marshon Lattimore (OH), LB Dante Booker (OH)
Surprised he didn't put us in consideration for Jamarco Jones, as many think that we have as good a shot as anyone. OL commit Denzel Ward was included in the "other players to watch" category, as is DE Lawrence Marshall.

A number of them did say that ND was their favorite or team to beat, but it'll be interesting to see what their opinion is after the NCG.

Why haven't Michigan or Ohio State offered Kizer yet? He has the measurables and athleticism to be a QB in either offense, and led his team to apt he championship game so he must play pretty well too. I know Michigan is taking their time recruiting QBs, but still find it odd neither have jumped in.

Well he's a WR first off and I think Michigan offers in the end, not sure OSU offers. Edit I'm sorry I read Kizer and thought Kieff from cinci. Lol I'm stupid

Yep, we were just slow playing CFB the last 19 years. We recruited good when we sucked, the sleeping giant is now awake. We lead for Smith Jr., his own words, Weisher, the RB from Minnesota Jones would jump on offer, but I don't see him getting one with us being the favorite for Elijah Hood. Think Jones will be UM/ND battle, same as the McDowell. Unfortunately it's looking like we will have small class next year.

I do think Michigan is in the mix for Jamarco Jones and he'll be back to campus at some point.
