Gentlemen, it was obviously a close decision for our analysts regarding Morris and Olsen and who the top QB is in the country. Our network obviously loves them both, with Olsen checking in at No. 7 overall and Morris at No. 12. Also, there is currently just eight five stars listed. That group will grow to roughly 30. Where Morris and Steven Elmer are currently ranked, they easily make that cut.

Is Shane planning on going to all those camps and combines again this summer?
I hope not. What purpose would they serve, at this point?

With Olsen, a couple things. His physical upside is tremendous. You look at his dad, and his two older brothers, and look at his frame, long arms, long legs, wide shoulders, this kid is going to get bigger and stronger. Again, it was very close, but Olsen may be more accurate from what we've seen over the summer at various events. They're both great leaders and they both have a lot of physical gifts. I don't think anyone could be considered a fool if you said one was better than the other.

Olsen and Morris Comparison
Footwork- Tie. Former 49ers coach Bill Walsh said good footwork is the most important asset a QB can have. Olsen shows better footwork in the pocket while Morris is better outside the pocket.
Decision Making- Olsen. Olsen looks a little bit more well coached when it comes to being decisive, making quick decisions by throwing the football on time before the receiver is out of his break. Olsen is a coaches son who lives in the film room. He also has had a older brother who played QB at Virginia and of course his other older brother Greg who is a TE for the Panthers.
Leadership/Moxie- Morris. He has great leadership qualities with as well as a outspoken confident swagger about him. Loved what Morris tweeted recently saying, "No. 2 QB in the nation according to 247Sports. I appreciate that really I do thanks a lot! But..Not cocky, end of the summer Im going to be #1."
Consistency- Olsen. Olsen is a little bit more consistent than Morris passing the football. Morris is only a 53% passer so far this year.
Mobility- Morris. Shane Morris shows excellent mobility being able to extend plays with his feet. Olsen shows decent mobility for his size but is not even comparable to Morris.
Arm strength- Tie. Morris looks to have a quicker release and more zip on the ball than Olsen. Olsen can drive the ball down the field a little more efficiently if he has time to wind up and throw.
It is a toss up in my opinion on the better QB overall out of the two. I think it comes down to who fits the offense better they are going to run at the next level.
