B1G network flashed a stat that Tom has 6.5 career sacks. That can't be right can it? 6.5 is awfully low for for a first rounder.

Tom's the only player on the spartans that I absolutely despise. As we witnessed last year he is nothing more than a cheap shot human piece of trash. Had they had to haul tom away in a stretcher I would have hoped for the worst. I was glad to see Lewan shut him down most of the game. Bullogh focuses on settling it on the field. That's the difference between the two. In the past before Tom came along I rooted for the Spartans to win when they weren't playing Michigan but with Tom on that team I can't do anything than hope for them to lose every game. Tom is like a Claude Lemeux.

Most overrated player I've ever seen in the conference. And he's not even "overhyped" in that sense. He's just not GOOD.

I thought the whole thing was pretty sick. I'd be curious to the reaction of the spartan fanbase if a Michigan player did similar to Kirk Cousins. I'm not sure why they all have such a hatred for Denard. Denard hasn't been the one trash talking it has been the spartan players. I'm glad Tom chose MSU because I couldn't root for a thug like that in a Michigan uniform. With a fanbase that roots for dirty play I guess Tom is where he belongs and will be appreciated.

I agree, I expect that from a Sparty, but people need to understand that these are STUDENT athletes, and to wish harm, or injury on these kid's is sickening. It's okay to be passionate about your team, but some people need to lock it up, or get a hobby. GO BLUE!

Harry Callahan, who is usually just a weak troll, started a thread on RCMB - "Denard is a classy kid" that included some very valid points. HC was blasted by a good many of his brethren. One guys hate for Denard was alarmingly disturbing.
Those jugaloons deride Denard relentlessly, yet up until this week, diefied that no good Gholson. What a classless bunch of Neanderthals.
MSU isn't a very good football program.. takes year of consistent winning to get to that level. - copemoney 1/22/13
