This time next year I can promise....

Treadwell will look around and ask himself, "What am I doing in Mississippi?"
There will be a new set of recruits who will be "getting the love" and he will be stuck in a bottom tier SEC school.
The kid would have been a god here and future top 10 pick in the NFL draft. He gave it away for some extra cash and women.

Let's not forget the race riots at Ole Miss after the election! That place just screams "tolerance".

I can see how a 18 yr old kid would get caught up in the extra perks and Ole' Miss is known for their hot females.
One would think an adult would step in and point this kid in the right direction.

This is the irony. If he would have commited to Michigan or Oklahoma he would have been a future top 10 pick and make millions. He is throwing it all away for a few thousand. (Allegedly)

And maybe that is the Problem, not all Adults act like an adult. Weather that's the case, or not, who knows.

since 2009 michigan has had 2 more draft picks than ole miss, 1 fewer first rounder, and as many wide-receivers as Ole Miss. Get off the high horse. Stop bashing the kid, He didn't throw his life away because he didn't pick michigan.

Maybe this is just me, but I also don't understand how so many kids can consistently undervalue academics. Considering how few players actually ever make it as pros (and even if you are a pro, most are broke 3 years out of the league), I can't understand why kids don't flock to schools like Stanford more often. The safe money is that Treadwell won't be a superstar in the NFL, so he'll need a way to make money somehow, and a Stanford/Michigan degree goes a lot farther than an Ole Miss degree.

And even superstars are only superstars until 35, and then they are off on other careers. Any sort of secondary education with a focus on finance or business could be invaluable to any NFL player, whether he's a superstar or not.
