be nailed for breaking the rules. They were unable to begin to get an advantage over Michigan until tressel began cheating, lying, and continually breaking the rules. The bucknuts believe they have done nothing wrong. Yet the bucknuts believe that they can do anything and it is legal so they can win. Whatever it takes to win, the end justifies the means for the bucknuts as long as it helps them to beat Michigan.
Seriously, the bucknuts are truly wacko!

He has continually broken the rules and stretched the boundaries and never was called out for it. OSU would never have began this winning streak without cheating There is so much writing on the wall. What is so bad is you bucknuts cannot recognize how bad cheater vest is and what he did to your once proud program. Even though Cooper could not beat us he at least he had integrity, honesty and morals. This crap does NOT happen at Michigan. This crap is the standard mode of functioning in the SEC and ohio crawled in bed with the devil to try and beat the SEC when they never have nor could. Just relax, set back and allow the Wolverines to handle the heavy lifting and bring integrity, ethics and morals back to the B10. Be a man and due your time. After 3 years of bowl bans and losing 40 scholies over 4 years and getting rid of your joke of an AD and president, then maybe you bucknuts may have a chance to return to some respectability. When the SEC looks their nose down on you knowing how the SEC will do anything to win at all cost barring nothing, then your program must be screwed up.

Did JT set up this stuff for the. Players getting tats? No
Should he have stopped it ?yes
Should he have told the truth? Yes
He covered up and protected his own ,I would do the same for my kids but I would have told the truth and made sure it stopped. He has more than paid the price because a lot of fault is on the higher ups. This stuff happens everywhere including Michigan. We all know the ncaa rules are absurd and need totally redone.
He shouldnmt have spoke to the team if he wasn't allowed but what advantage is gained by talking to them?
What advantage did the tats give Ohio St when we were kicking your @$$?
You make excuses to justify why you lost sound like a hypocrite to you?
You guys won and got a good coach,we got a good coach on the way.I look foward to great battles but I don't think u win in columbus anytime soon.

Just so I'm sure who the delusional one is. Do you believe the two situations are the same? That what Michigan was found guilty of is the same type of situation as what happened at OSU? And if so why?
If you don't, then don't try to act like they are the same.. or even remotely similar. If you do... well... I'll be curious as to why you think they are that's for sure.

they are very similar, both broke rules and neither broke the LAW. and we actually paid for it by lossing coach and players and 2 seasons and some schoolies. u guys broke rules and got a hand slap because u weren't relevent and NO ONE really cared. if u guys were winning at that time it woulda been worse.

Am I following your logic correctly? It doesn't matter at all what rules were broken... that's apparently insignificant. Just that both schools broke rules but didn't break the law that makes the two situations "very similar."
I can't really see any other way to take your post... so I'm just checking to see if that's really the point you're trying to make.

not exactly, but regardless both broke rules, but osu actually paid for it. trading personal property for some tats would have never been so outa control if it wasn't the ohio state university. the op point was that osu is gonna be hit hard, myself and everyone else believe no way meyer comes if that's the case, and we all know what happened today.

Michigan paid for the rules that they broke, which were rather insignificant. And the situation at OSU wouldn't have been so out of control if Tressel did his job and properly reported the violation when it happened.
Yes it obviously got a lot of Media Attention because it happened at Ohio State, but the situation happened as it did because of what Tressel did, and then the horrid response from the school in actually addressing the situation.
But back to the question at hand. How isn't that exactly what your logic is? You do nothing but reinforce that the two situations are similar only on the basis that both schools broke rules. So, if that's not your logic... what is your logic?

here is the logic, read the 3rd post from the original poster. i quote, "this crap does NOT happen at michigan". fact is that it did, and it needed to be pointed out. just becuase 1 person runs a red light, it doesn't make the person that speeds high and mighty.

No it doesn't. Our coach does not play unelgible players and lie to the NCAA about it. Rules were broken at Michigan, but they were not similar rules at all. Facts are TP, Posey, and Herron should not have been playing last year. They did because Tressel lied about shit.
We both had NCAA violations ares were less severe, and our coach wasn't lying to NCAA about ours.

So I could also say that "This stuff does NOT happen at OSU" in reference to CHEATING with extra practice hours, etc. See how easy that is? Morons.
Tatoo's didn't give an unfair advantage on the field. The players were suspended this year instead of last. OSU paid steeply in both years. Justice was served.
Extra practice time should have yielded an unfair advantage on the field for you guys, but it didn't. We'll see what happens when NCAA rules and you guys all start pissing yourself that there are no additional penalties. Can't wait. Do you really think Meyer would sign-up if there were more sanctions coming?
-
theyellowdart said...
You without question could say that stuff does not happen at OSU in reference to extra practice hours. There is nothing at all wrong with that and would be a sound valid statement.
And yes, tattoos did not give OSU any type of unfair advantage on the field. However, playing ineligible players without question did. Not sure why OSU fans always seem to leave that detail out.

And OSU now has ZERO wins to show for it in 2010 and was a main reason for the 6-6 campaign they just completed. Justice has been served. You act like OSU is getting away with murder. I would argue that the punishment has been way more harsh than the crime in this case.
