Ya I really am distraught after this loss when it seemed we were moving the ball a lot on the ND front. Most frustrating game I've ever watched. I went into this game worried about the 'D' and thought the 'O' would be just fine and put up 20 or more (which should've happened, but oh well). But I am very proud of our 'D' and think this will give our defense a confidence that is unmeasurable at this point. I really like our chances in the conference, but this one still hurts cause other than the turnovers, we played good enough to win.

This game was a sack punch. 6 TO's, a number of trips inside the 10 with no TDs. D played well enough to win.
Encouraging in that the D played the way it did because the B1G is godawful, if they keep that up UM will be alright. Sparty doesnt look good, ohio is ineligible, Wisconsin is garbage, Nebraska looks pretty meh, Purdue may end up being the biggest threat. This team is good enough to beat anyone left on the schedule on the way to getting slaughtered by Oregon or USC in the rose bowl
