  • As you said, it's very difficult to beat a quality team on the road when you're -4 in the turnover department. The one encouraging thing was the play of the defense, but you just can't expect to win when you turn the ball over and squander red zone opportunities.

  • Ya I really am distraught after this loss when it seemed we were moving the ball a lot on the ND front. Most frustrating game I've ever watched. I went into this game worried about the 'D' and thought the 'O' would be just fine and put up 20 or more (which should've happened, but oh well). But I am very proud of our 'D' and think this will give our defense a confidence that is unmeasurable at this point. I really like our chances in the conference, but this one still hurts cause other than the turnovers, we played good enough to win.

I felt your pain last year but you guys still have an excellent shot to win the B1G and play in the Rose Bowl. Your season is not lost...your biggest goal is still attainable.

  • This game was a sack punch. 6 TO's, a number of trips inside the 10 with no TDs. D played well enough to win.

Encouraging in that the D played the way it did because the B1G is godawful, if they keep that up UM will be alright. Sparty doesnt look good, ohio is ineligible, Wisconsin is garbage, Nebraska looks pretty meh, Purdue may end up being the biggest threat. This team is good enough to beat anyone left on the schedule on the way to getting slaughtered by Oregon or USC in the rose bowl

Big ten title should be well within reach, but only Oregon looked good yesterday. USC struggled against a mediocre Cal team. As long as we play USC I think we can keep it close.

Agreed....UM vs USC rose bowl would be a complete shoot out. UM vs Oregon would be a game for about 2 1/2 quarters til their speed and tempo wear us down and Black Mamba takes over

  • thank God we don't have to play against robinson anymore. what an athlete, every time he touches the ball i have to put my beer down. it was a big win for us, and we owed ya one......

Run the ball. Stop the run. You win, or lose, up front.
