  • This will be fun to see all these quarterbacks compete in Ann Arbor this summer. Kizer's extremely mature for a QB his age, and is already doing whatever he can to master every aspect of the position.

  • I really think Kizer is a perfect fit for Michigan's future pro-style attack. He has excellent size and can also make plays with his feet when needed. Based on his film, Kizer looks like he makes good decisions with the ball and looks very poised for a sophomore. I think the earlier Michigan offers, the better.

  • I would be happy to have him as our QB for 2014, he'll be a good one.

  • He is the best player I have seen in that class so far. I hope Michigan offers really soon.

If you guys were to compare Kizer to Stewart, who do you think gets the first offer?

From everything I've read, this summer's camp is going to be the competition for that first offer (well, second because didn't they offer that Pitt commit Chandler Kincade already?). Chance looks pretty good for a sophomore, and 2 more years starting will make him even better. My concern with him is he's already 6-5 or taller, so could he actually outgrow the position? Not many Brock Osweiller's out there that can have proper footwork at 6-8. Kizer looks more raw based on camp reports, but I have to believe he has the higher ceiling of the two.

I have only seen video of Stewart. But Kizer is elite.

  • Plus one dizzo. And yes he was offered I believe. I take kizer all day long as well. He will have a long time to learn and grow under the coaching staff. Then qb depth will be a strength

  • It would be "spectacular" if Kizer earned an offer and chose to be a Michigan Wolverine.

Kincade does not have a Michigan offer. He only has a Pitt offer.

247 has Kizer at 6'5" too.

  • Todd and Clint, do you guys have any sense if anyone has an early lead right now in the "2014 Michigan Quarterback scholarship offer derby," and if so, who that might be?

I might give an ever so slight edge to Kizer, but I really think their camp performances will go a long way toward determining who gets it. They'll all have an equal shot.
