    To be fair none of those guys have TOSU offers yet, nor have they committed anywhere yet. I seriously doubt Deveon Smith gets an OSU offer but only time will tell. Cam Burrows was a GREAT start to 2013 Ohio recruiting. Soon to be followed by 5 star Jalin Marshall. Two 5 stars is a nice start.

    You see this logic doesn't compute. We keep hearing the state of Ohio will be on lockdown but then when we get a player from Ohio we hear he didn't have an offer. So, basically the state won't be on lockdown?

    Urban isn't going to get every good OH prospect. Anyone who thinks he will is dillusional. There are too many quality recruits. UM, ND, MSU, etc will get some. But my guess is Urban will get the majority he wants. Only time will tell.

    Ohio state has always gotten the majority of the top recruits in Ohio. Michigan just needs to scoop in and pick up a few good recruits a year.

    And I'm sure they will. Hoke has a good reputation and relationship with OH HS coaches. And his is from OH. If Hoke can keep his success up he'll land his share of good OH players (as much as I hate to say it as a Buckeye fan).

    I see what you are saying. If Urban doeant offer them then it won't really be a head to head win for Hoke. There will be lots of good OH players Urban doesn't offer that will go elsewhere for a variety of reasons. Doesn't mean "they weren't good enough for OSU". Probably means Urban likes other players at that position more or they fit what he is looking for better. Have to be able to identify the kids who will succeed in his system.
