Seriously, I wish that kid the best.
Not sure how I'd handle being an 18 year old national phenom only to be benched my 2nd year. I'm sure some of his struggles are self-inflicted (failing out of school) but I hope he gets it together and the CFL is his chance.

I wish him the best but it just seems that the parents are trying to push all of them into the spotlight. I hope he does well and gets his life back together.

But please tell me what he did AFTER that game?? Michigan finished the year 5-7.

I do wish the kid well. And good luck in his future. However, I was taken aback by another poster calling him a " National Phenom" Forcier was NEVER a " National Phenom" Sure he did play well for a couple games into the 2009 season but that was it.

Glad he's got a chance to earn a paycheck to play the game. Lots of very good players have come out of the CFL, especially quarterbacks. If he takes this opportunity and runs with it, he may have a shot to play in the NFL at some point.
