I would love to have him in this class, but this is hoping for a miracle. We need to pull him from out west, which is a tough task. Heres' to hope .....

Judging by his comments and planned visits, his interest in Ohio is just recruit speak. Gotta love it.

Since he has known Hoke since he was a sophmore, that will help a lot, but I don't know if it will be enough, and it likely won't be. Get him on campus and things can change, but we'll see. Oddly, I have a good feeling about this one.

I think when he visits....we immediately jump to #2 at least. I think it will be very close between us and USC. Hopefully he's the only guy coming that weekend aside from commits already. That way the coaches can focus all their attention on him and maybe Shane can work his magic.

Committing on June 6th? Is that enough time to take officials? I'm trying to remember when kids can actually take official visits because most do it during the season.
Have to be honest, as a PSU fan I'd prefer he stay in California. Kid is a missile.

Well I won't get my hopes up on the kid but he is my #1 want right now. As long as he's taking a visit we have a chance. USC is building an outstanding class right now and they will be tough to beat out. But it is still good to be in the top 5....so here's to hope.

No, he can't take officials. He's just taking unofficials to Nebraska and UM. I think that that is an important point. Everyone says he's a Trojan lock (and I agree actually), but it says a lot that he's willing to pay out of his own pocket to see these schools.

not really. i mean sure like any team he would be a huge get. hes a top talent for sure but we arent that upset about it. we realize that he was a long shot AT BEST. hes not going to osu, and nobody is really that upset. we have put our hopes into vonn bell for some time now. if we dont land him then we wont be to happy

That was his original plan, as he was going to announce his decision either at the Army All-American game or on Signing Day. But he recently decided to announce it on June 6 instead, meaning he had no choice but to take unofficials to Nebraska and Michigan if he wanted to visit.
