I really hope Koger comes back. One of the things we're missing on this team is veteran leadership at the TE position, so having an experienced Michigan TE available will only help the development of the young guys.

I don't think he's ready for that kind of position.

Manning's name was thrown out there as a possibility by Sam Webb yesterday on WTKA. He's a former linebacker and is capable of coaching that SAMs on the roster. The new coach must have the type of outgoing personality that would make him a top notch recruiter and according to Webb, Manning has that.

As of right now, I think they're in the process of developing a list of candidates they'll pursue. I don't have any specific names as of yet and won't speculate on them until I hear otherwise.

I expect they'll try to get someone who may have been connected to the program in the past though. The candidate will almost certainly be young as well.

I didn't find him listed as the primary for any of the commits Cincinnati had in 2013, which would have been the only cycle he was involved in. I don't really think that means anything though; he was there for one year.

Did JonHoke get retained in Chicago? Would they go that route?
