The feeling around camp seems to be completely different than it was last year.

Definitely improved but I'm still not liking Denard's throwing mechanics. There's a throw in there, where he's throwing off of his back foot, again.

Yeah, I'm sure that Borges will teach him he is much more dangerous sitting in the pocket and setting his feet to throw. We'll see how much he can improve through spring and fall camps. If he fixes his mechanics we could go a long way next season.

As long as he is doing on those shorter routes like that its ok. When he starts doing it and chucking it up downfield where the defenders have more time to get to the ball thats when he gets in trouble.

Bryant and Mealer are going to battle for that LG spot... Kalis might get a look as well... Pass protection will be the tie breaker... Both Mealer and Bryant are maulers with the run game but will have to show up in pass pro....It would be cool to see Mealer get the nod because of his story but I am sure Funk will allow the best man play

May have switched 'em up at times during practice. But I just looked at the picture again it is definitely Lewan, Mealer, Barnum, Omameh, and you can't see the RT. The picture I'm referencing is in the last picture in the set of practice photos on mgoblue.com.
Either way I'm hoping Bryant wins it out by the end of Spring.
