Sophomore RB likes Michigan schools

Fishers (Ind.) Hamilton Southeastern RB Jamitreus Crockham looks like the state's top prospect in the class of 2014. Michigan and & Michigan State have caught his eye.

MSU isn't a very good football program.. takes year of consistent winning to get to that level. - copemoney 1/22/13

  • This is good Michigan is getting interest by these kids at such a young age. I'm still trying to gauge the interest of Jayru Campbell (2015 starting Cass Tech QB) for Michigan.

  • I mentioned him a few months ago. I'm definitely intrigued by him...

Here's a link to a video on youtube of his highlights from a single game. (Keep in mind that he's just a sophomore.)

We just cut that video yesterday. We should have full highlights following his sophomore season.

I heard Campbell mention he liked Texas and some other southern school that I can't remember at the moment because he wants to get out of the cold in a video interview. Its still very early so I would take that with a grain of salt.

That other school he mentioned was Miami (Fl). He mentioned that he heard that "Michigan and iowa know about him". He has 3 more seasons of HS football left before he makes his decision. And, with him being only 14 years old, his mind will change a hundred times before he becomes an upperclassman at Cass Tech. Hopefully Coach Wilcher can influence him along with all of the other former Technicians-now-Wolverines.
