Smith preparing for a big year

    In his film, this is definitely true. He goes down easily and it's a concern of mine about his film. Being that big doesn't make him a guy who breaks tackles.

    I think peoples concerns about him going down "easy" might be a bit overstated. There are a couple times in his film where that is the case, but it isn't exactly a routine thing.

    I agree with this, I think its been a bit overblown. He obviously doesn't truck people the way Smith does in his vid, but I saw a few broken tackles. I also believe his competition is much stiffer, so there's that

    I usually lean toward getting the elite guy while you can so I would prefer landing Green for 2013 even if it means the chances of landing an elite 2014 RB decrease.

    Good point - the whole "bird in the hand" theory. Tough to argue with that.

    yep, i've been saying the same thing about Green. About Wyatt too for all those people who want to hand it off to him on the goalline. Smith breaks tackles much better then either of them.

    Obviously Derrick Green would be an amazing addition to this class, but we won't be hurting if we don't get him. Love Smith and his game. We'd be more than fine with Deveon carrying the load at RB.
