Good stuff, and it's nice to see Deveon isn't afraid of the competition.

Can't wait to see this guy in the Maize and Blue, seems like he will be a tough SOB running the ball.

I really think this is our guy regardless of who else we bring at RB this year or next. He just appears to want it so bad. Being driven in life will overcome just about any obstacle. I can't see him being kept off the field.

Obviously Derrick Green would be an amazing addition to this class, but we won't be hurting if we don't get him. Love Smith and his game. We'd be more than fine with Deveon carrying the load at RB.

This is what I was thinking as well Todd. Good to see the guy is all about the team, and isn't afraid to compete.

This would obviously be a great problem to have, but I wonder if landing Green (or, in retrospect, if Isaac had chosen Michigan) would hurt Michigan's chances at landing a top 2014 running back. Let's say the Wolverines close the class with Smith, Shallman and someone who's currently under the radar. That might be more appealing to a 2014 back than if both Smith and Green were a part of the class. So in a way, it can be a win-win situation for the Wolverines - either bring in two elite 2013 backs, or increase your chances of landing an elite 2014 back.

In his film, this is definitely true. He goes down easily and it's a concern of mine about his film. Being that big doesn't make him a guy who breaks tackles.
