I hope we get him. I wonder what it would be like having both the tackle positions be 6'10" monsters. Love how this staff emphasizes the trenches. That's how you wins games. Showed this year, poor OLine play, poor offensive production.
I agree with you regarding Hoke's emphasis on building his program from the inside out. That's probably what I admire most about his coaching philosophy. And Shane may have to carry a stepladder with him onto the field in order to get the ball over Ward and Skipper!

Great point about how Michigan has handled this. Michigan deserves credit for identifying him and taking initiative when the opportunity was there. We'll see if it ends up paying off, but the fact that the Wolverines were able to come in so late and make a serious run at it, no matter how this ends, is definitely impressive.

Good point - some quarterbacks are able to figure out a way to not let their lack of height hurt them in the pocket. Because of that, I've always felt it's more important how tall a quarterback plays, rather than how tall he is. There are some tall quarterbacks that really struggle to see over the passrush in the pocket.
