I had a conversation w/ my brother in law a few weeks ago (he's an ohio fan). His 5 year old son is a Michigan fan, and it pisses the father off to no end, and he's trying to force him into being an ohio fan which makes the kid want to root for Michigan even harder.

But if you look at it from a kids POV (when most people become fans) Michigan is obviously an appealling school w/ their awesome helmets, sharp color combo, and a nickname like the Wolverines (in a day when the X-Men character is in nearly every boys home) it's obvious why he'd choose Michigan over a school w/ a drab color pattern, plain helmets, and a nickname of an inedible nut.

They're gonna have their hands full no doubt... when I watch him and he starts acting up I tell him that's how buckeye fans act, and he straightens up lol.

We offered him everyday of the week and twice on Sunday. He reminds me a lot of Charles Woodson. A big physical lockdown corner who actually is a great running back too. He likes to tackle, gamebreaking speed, and a pure athlete. In 5 words.... a winner, a michigan man.
